We accept Medicare, Medicaid, Sunshine, Ambetter, Aetna First Health, and Cigna. For out-of-network insurance, a $200 flat rate applies
What types of conditions do you evaluate?
We assess a wide range of genetic concerns, including developmental delays, birth defects, autism, connective tissue disorders, inherited cancer syndromes, metabolic conditions, and undiagnosed rare diseases.
Do you offer in-person visits?
Yes. While we primarily operate via telemedicine, in-person visits are available at our Bradenton, FL office for patients who do not have access to technology or prefer face-to-face consultations. Please call us to schedule.
Do I need a referral to be seen?
Some insurances may require a referral. If you're unsure, contact your primary care provider or call our office—we're happy to guide you through the process.
What should I expect during a telehealth genetic consultation?
Your virtual visit will be with a board-certified MD geneticist. We will review your medical and family history, discuss potential diagnoses, and recommend genetic testing if appropriate. You'll receive a personalized care plan based on your results.
Can you help with insurance authorization for testing?
Yes. We handle insurance pre-authorizations and coordinate with testing labs to reduce out-of-pocket costs whenever possible.
What laboratories do you work with for genetic testing?
We collaborate with major, CLIA-certified labs such as Invitae, GeneDx, and Ambry Genetics to ensure high-quality, accurate testing.
How long does it take to get genetic test results?
Turnaround time depends on the test, but most results are available within 2–6 weeks. We will contact you as soon as your results are ready to discuss next steps.
Do you see both children and adults?
Yes. We evaluate patients of all ages—from newborns to seniors—for inherited and rare conditions.
Can I be tested if I’m not showing symptoms?
Yes. We offer carrier screening, predictive testing for at-risk family members, and proactive genetic health assessments even in the absence of symptoms.
How do I schedule an appointment?
Visit our Patient Portal to schedule online, or call our clinic at (941) 202-2260 for assistance.
How do I get my results?
All results are reviewed directly with you by our physician, either through a follow-up telehealth or in-person visit. A detailed report will be provided for your records and can be shared with your other providers.

Do you accept insurance?
At this time, we do accept Florida Medicaid, Florida Medicare and Cigna. For patients without insurance, we offer self-pay options and are committed to making genetic care accessible. If you have a high deductible or out-of-network plan, we’ll work with you to create a personalized payment plan that fits your needs. Our goal is to ensure that cost is not a barrier to receiving the care you deserve.
